First Friday of the month marks what traders and bankers call "Jobs Friday" because at 8:30 US time on First Fridays, Unemployment Rate and Non Farm Payroll (NFP) data are being released.

NOTE: If in the event (in a few hours) of a US government shut down, US Labor Department will not be able to issue NFP data this Friday. In any case, "Happy Trading Hours - NFP Week" will still push through.
